Culture and history can be beneficial in that it helps the avoidance of pitfall and the adaptation of strengths. Similarly, the study o the history of education in Iran in general and the local studyof the history of education in Kashan (also called Qasan and Qashan) can be a great step in the better management of schools in today’s world. The peresent study traces the development of schools in Kashan and investigates the effects of enironemental and political factors on their development. The dim of the study is to use historical records to show how the classical master-apprentice education developped into the present form.
