A great scholar addresses the relationship between the Greek culture and the Islamic culture. He contends that as a result of the interactions between Greek philosophy and Islam, tour ideological lines of thinking emerged, namely, Masha’i, Eshraqi, Kalam, and Tasavof of Sufism. The four ideological approaches have two basic epistemological principles in common: a) The principle of reasoning and wisdom and b) The principle of soul purification through hardship. There a great scholars advocating , ghazali and Toosi are but a few examples. This study focuses on Baha Afzal Maraghi kashani of the fifth and sixth centuries.
