Kashan is one of the most important historical and cultural regions in Iran and the world of Islam. In this region, urbanization, architecture, art, and handicrafts are famous and distinctive. Kashan Shenasi is a journal published by Kashan Shenasi Research Center affiliated with University of Kashan. The journal publishes papers related to the city of Kashan. It was established in 2002 by the University of Kashan and the editorial board consists of Some of the professors from University of Kashan faculties of literature and humanities, art and architecture, those from university of Teheran and other universities in Iran, and some researchers who are conducting research related to city of Kashan. The first issue was published in spring 2005. Since then, 23 issues have been published with a total of 190 Kashan related articles. The latest issue (i.e., 24th) is ready for publishing.
