One of the key philosophical issues in the history of mankind has always been the discovery of the identity and the nature of mankind. Man has always thought about himself and explored facts about existence. The history of philosophical thought shows that philosophers have always shown interest in the study of man’s virtues, strengths, and weakness. All divine religions and books and above all the Holy Quran do centered around mankind and his existence. Islamic philosophers have also contributed to this area using the holy book and divine traditions. An example in case is philosopher Bābā Afzaluddin Maraghi Kāshāni. His works show that he has been engaged in presenting a comprehensive view of the perfect man using the Quran and Islamic mysticism. This article explores his views in relation to the issue of mankind.
