This paper begins with a discussion of Quranic verses ad traditions related to the interpretation of quran by personal opinion or arbiterary interpretation, the paper continues with a discussion of Feiz Kashani's stance on the issue. Feiz explains the meanings of the traditions or hadiths about arbiterary interpretation and refutes interpretations that are not based on the shere statements and texts of the holy Quran. He attempts to sum up the contemplations and traditions related to the interpretation of the holy Quran. To Feiz, arbiterary interpretation in guided by carnal desires that can be deliberate or indeliberate. He recommends resources such as the speeches of the infallible Imam ad the cotextual verses of the holy Quran. Even though totally authentic interpretations is in the domain of the infallible, it can not possibly be claimed that all other obedient and pious people's interpretations are based on personal opinion and the quran is always of contemplation and interpretation.
