Cachan is a city near Paris. The existence of ancient buildings like the palaces of the French kings in the ninth to the fourteenth centuries are the special attractions for the tourists visiting the city. Kashan with a history of more than seven thousand years is a city on the border of the salt desert in Iran. In this article the author campares the two cities, especially from historical and architectural points of view, and investigates the similarities and dissimilarities between the two cities.
