The present paper seeks to introduce one of the most famous tenth-century Iranian scholars and interpreters, Molla Fathollah Kashani. His numerous works are well-known and his book on interpretation called Menhaj-alssadeghin in known throughout the Persian-speaking world. However, little is known about the life history of this great scholar. This papers discusses controversial and sometimes radically different views on this great scholar and discusses two of his great works.
