Assistant professor, university of Kashan, Department of Theology One important aspect of Koranic sciences is the methodology of interpretation employed by different Muslim scholars and orientalists. Late Ayatolloh Mulla Habib-Allah Sharif Kashani who lived in the 13th century A.H. has several books in Islamic sciences, including the interpretation of Holy Koran. The article analyses the methodology of his published Interpretation of koran. The study shows that the methodolgy he used is based on advocating shi’ite theology, sayings of the prophet’s descendants and great Emamiyeh scholars. Fur the more. The use of analytical method in his Interpretation shows that he has been efected by some shiit mystics.
