This article is an attempt to trace the name and the history of Kashan , the growth of Shi’ism in this city, and to introduce the scholars of this region, including philosophers, the interpreters of the Quran , mystics, mathematicians, poets, lexicographers, and artists. The author believes that a separate article can be written on each of the entries mentioned in this article.
