The tradition of commenting on religious texts and sources has been common among Islamic scholars since ancient times, and in this context, the description of Nahj al-Balagha has a special condition. From the year of compilation of Nahj al-Balagha (400 AH) until now, commentators of Nahj al-Balagha with various motivations such as: explaining difficult words and expressing rhetorical and literary points, explaining theological and philosophical foundations, analyzing and interpreting historical and political events, mentioning literary details and Rhetoric, moral sermons, mystical and educational points, etc. have explained it. Although historians have considered the sixth century as the period of Shiite scientific stagnation, the flourishing of Nahj-al-Balagha writing and commentaries with the aim of preserving the Shiite heritage took place in this same century, and Kashan is the capital of Nahj in its historical record. Al-Balagha has become famous and has an important place in the fields of literature and the publication of valuable Shiite works and the promotion of religious sciences, and in the 6th to 10th centuries, due to the presence of distinguished scholars such as Seyyed Abulreza Fazlullah Ravandi, Qutbuddin Ravandi and Mullah Fatehullah. Kashani has been an important area in the development and promotion of Nahj al-Balagha. Abolreza Ravandi's description of Nahj al-Balagha in the sixth century became famous as the first description of Nahj al-Balagha, and Qutb Ravandi's "Minhaj al-Bara'ah" in the same century, as well as "Tanbiyeh al-Ghaflin and Tazkirah al-Arifin" by Molfatullah Kashani in the tenth century, are always another source and document. There have been explanations of Nahj al-Balagha in other centuries. This article, with a descriptive, analytical and comparative approach, and by using existing old and manuscript sources and manuscripts, examines the methodology of the translators and commentators of Nahj al-Balagha between the 6th and 10th centuries in kashan.
