We have so far known of four old 7th-Century manuscripts by Bābā Afzal Kāshāni. Today, a fifth one that was produced in the same century (677 AH) has been located in the personal collections of a Vahid Zolfaghāri in Yazd. This is the translation of Yanbo'alhayat and Tafahah monographs. This paper introduces this newly-found work. Comparisons with two other Persian works on Yanbo'alhayāt and with manuscripts by Noor Othmanieh and Mahdi Bayāni clarifies the differences and offers literary and historical evidence from the Moghul to the Safavid periods.
